Entré Golvfärg is a floor paint for painting wood and concrete floors, primarily indoors, exposed to medium hard wear. For example - accommodation spaces, basement corridors, residential garages, etc. Exterior balcony floors and stairs made of concrete can be painted with Entré floor paint but require more frequent maintenance because the weather accelerates aging and wear of the paint layer.
CLEANING AND PREPARING THE SURFACE:- NEW CONCRETE FLOORS AT LEAST 1 MONTH OLD: Clean the floor to remove dirt and dust. Concrete skin, concrete floors that have been machineground or milled, and old laundry room floors, are etched first with Betongets. Remove oil, grease and wax by degreasing with Delfin Fettlösare. NEW UNFINISHED WOOD FLOORS: Clean the room to remove dirt and dust. Sand the floor with finegrade sandpaper to remove any raised fibres and then wipe away the dust from sanding. Seal knots with Alcro Kvistlack. PREVIOUSLY PAINTED/VARNISHED CONCRETE AND WOOD FLOORS: Clean the floor to remove dust and dirt. Sand any shiny areas until they are dull. Wash with Delfin Målartvätt and wipe afterwards with clean water.
PAINTING:- Stir the paint thoroughly from the bottom of the can. Prime unfinished concrete floors with one coat of Entré Golvfärg thinned with 10% water. For the best result, apply two coats of unthinned Entré Golvfärg. Apply two coats of unthinned paint on previously painted/varnished wood and concrete surfaces for the best result. Prime unfinished wood floors with Servalac Aqua Grundfärg to reduce the risk of discolouration caused by resin in the wood (especially wood floors that will be painted in white or bright colours). Let the primer dry 16 hours before you apply a finish coat of Entré Golvfärg. For the best result, apply two finish coats. After 3 days, the painted floor will reach its full durability and wear resistance and can be used. LINOLEUM FLOORING: Clean the floor thoroughly with Delfin Målartvätt and a scouring pad, such as a green Scotch Brite pad. Wipe and clean the floor thoroughly with clean lukewarm water several times and remove any remaining wax or polish. We recommending testing the paint first by painting some on a small area to see if the surface is free of wax and polish and that the paint bonds properly to the linoleum. After cleaning and checking that the paint adheres well, apply two coats of Entré Golvfärg unthinned.
Do not apply at temperature below 10°C and store above freezing level.
