Sober Natur matt Täckfärg vägg is an eco-labelled flat paint for walls that is waterborne and virtually odour free. It is easy to apply, covers very well and creates a perfect finish.
CLEANING AND PREPARING THE SURFACE:- Ensure that the surface is sound and free of dust. Scrape and brush.
UNFINISHED SURFACES: Prime with Sober Natur Grundfärg.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED, SHINY OR DIRTY SURFACES: Wash with sugar soap and wipe and rinse thoroughly with water afterwards.
DISTEMPER: Remove by washing with a lot of water.
OLD LIME-WASHED SURFACES: If dusty, bind with Stärka Grundfärg.
SURFACES COVERED WITH ENAMEL PAINT: Sand or prime with V-slip.
HOLES AND CRACKS: Repair with proprietary filler.
UNPROTECTED IRON SURFACES FREE OF RUST: Prime with Servalac Aqua Grundfärg. Sand lightly afterwards.
WOVEN FABRICS, such as jute cloth: Prime with Stärka Grundfärg.
PLASTIC SURFACES, such as vinyl wall coverings: These might require priming with V-slip to provide a better surface for the paint to adhere to, or to avoid a sticky paint finish. If unsure, paint a small area to test the fabric.
PAINTING:- Stir the paint well. Apply a generous amount with a roller, rolling it evenly over the surface. If you are painting with a paintbrush, thin the paint with 5% water. Do not paint if the temperature is colder than 5°C.
