Congratulations to Little Greene on being awarded ‘Best Small Stand’ at the Earls Court Ideal Home Show 2011.
Additionally, The Prince’s house, at the Ideal Home show this year created much attention and featured Little Greene Paints on the interior walls.

Having anticipated a resurgence of interest in the design of the ‘1950s and ‘1960s, Fired Earth is pleased to be able to unveil its collection of Mid-Century Colours by Kevin McCloud.
This capsule collection is in part inspired by the Festival of Britain and the launch is timed to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the historic event.

The Famous Nine are new colours for 2011 by Farrow & Ball. First up is Brassica which looks a bit like purple cabbage and comes alive used with Calluna, a pretty heather colour and Pelt. Cabbage White takes its name from the distinctive wings of the Cabbage White butterfly. Fourth up, Charlotte’s Locks is absolutely no connection with the colour of Nicole Kidman’s hair but is a highly dramatic colour used in the 50’s. Dove Tale is a grey or stony colour, much used by “Bright young things!” between the wars. Manor House Gray is a traditional 18th century colour. Mizzle is very reminiscent of a west country evening mist. Oxford Stone goes well with London Stone. The ninth and final new colour (more…)
