But for whatever reason, we would like to clear them out to make space for new stock. The tins are available to see only in our warehouse and the customer will need to collect. Farrow & Ball have increased their prices and removed their old, well known, oil finishes. You can still see these at our F&B webpage and currently still at the old prices until we find time to update our site. Paint Library have actually reduced the price of their sample pots but increased many other items. This is our final blog of 2009.
All paint products contain some type of solvent whose function is to make the paint paintable and then evaporate. Solvents therefore have nothing to do with the actual quality of the remaining coat of paint. Most paints have traditionally contained organic solvents that are hazardous to people and the environment. This is why a substantial part of the environmental work is focused on replacing these harmul solvents.
